Welcome

I am a noise specialist. Now partly retired so I limit new work.  I advise on noise and its effects on people. That encompasses the planning system, noise nuisance and hearing damage. In particular I specialise in two areas: wind farm noise and noise-induced deafness.

Noise – what I do

• Advise on all aspects of environmental and workplace noise, in particular my two prime specialisations below.

Wind farms – what I do

• examine the Environmental Statement, then prepare reports for Councils or other groups.
• give advice on all aspects of wind farm noise.
• give advice on the impact of turbine noise on people 

Noise-induced deafness – what I do

• investigate the validity of Claims for Noise Induced Deafness, for either the Employee or the Employer.
• give Expert Evidence in Court Cases.
